Soooo, the guy we’re told is an expert on the Constitution proves he doesn’t know jack. This upsets me. Why? He gets history wrong. He gets the Constitution wrong.

First, where does the Constitution allow the President or the Federal Government to purchase slaves? NOWHERE!

Second, How does providing a buyer (Government) for the product (slaves) cause slavery to end? It’s a BIG government solution.

Third, the Civil War was not initially fought end slavery. That became a by-product and a result. President Lincoln was moving Congress to prepare a Constitutional ammendment to end slavery. This caused Southern states to revolt, bolt, and begin hostilities by attacking a Federal Fort. That is an ACT OF WAR! Lincoln called for volunteers and went to Congress for a Declaration of War. It was granted. EVERYTHING Lincoln did was within the confines of the Constitution. What Ron Paul proposed is NOT!

The Civil War was about restoring the Union. Slavery was not made illegal until two years into the War.

So Paul’s whole assertion that this so called ”senseless” war to end slavery was unnecessary is a moot point. He’s factually wrong on why we fought it. He’s practically wrong on the incredible benefits it produced. A race of people were FREED!

Finally, how many lives were SAVED as having fought that war? Ron Paul doesn’t want to discuss that. At the end of the day … Paul is not worthy to carry Lincoln’s hat. How dare he criticize the man credited with saving this nation and keeping intact. How dare this little runt with creeper eyes lampoon one of the greatest President’s in history. How dare he!

This was more than a movie character in the Civili War era stating they would not be beaten down by circumstances or the Union army. This was a rallying cry to a Depression era movie audience to not give up, to not quit, to pull something from inside themselves in order to find the strength to get up and move forward. Audiences loved it and responded with thunderous applause and cheers.

I believe Clint Eastwood was attempting the same thing in the now infamous half time ad during the Patriots vs Giant Superbowl of 2012.

Using Detroit and the auto industry as his backdrop Clint’s gravely voice locker room pep talk was designed to be the Scarlett O’Hara “I’ll never be hungry” speech for a new generation. Instead, Rush Limbaugh and Karl Rove along with other pundits interpreted the scene as Eastwood’s endorsement of Obama taking over the auto industry and thus endorsing Obama’s stimulas/socialism style of governing as the key to America’s comeback. As much as I respect their points of view on most issues … I believe Rush and the experts got it wrong. I think Clint was simply trying to get American’s to suck it up, tough’n up, and get moving.

Challenging America to pull together was not a call to socialism. It IS what we do when times are tough. Neighbor loking out for neighbor. People helping people. Not because Obama says so but because it’s right to do!

I must admit … this is the ad I would have liked Eastwood to have done…

But for me … at the end of the day I appreciate Mr. Eastwood trying to lift the spirit’s of hurting Americans in his half time ad. Kudos to Clint and God Bless America!

Mitt Romney whined on HANNITY on 2/16/12 that he is a “real” conservative. That his record can stand the test. He insinuated that Gingrich and Santorum have tarnished records as conservatives but he is a pure, true conservative.

He raided corporations by loading them with debt after borrowing against their credit limit but personally pocketing the money while allowing the corporation to default and the employees left without jobs. That’s not capitalism. That’s criminal!

As a “conservative” governor he introduced the model which became Obamacare. He was pro-abortion, anti-gun rights, and a liberal’s best friend.

The truth is his record CANNOT withstand scrutiny which is why he chickened out of the March 1st CNN Debate from Georgia. Funny, he doesn’t want to debate in Gingrich’s home state … doesn’t want to answer for his vicious, nasty campaign tactics … can’t face the American people or those whom he has maligned by answering straight questions about his record. He’s a fraud. He’s a counterfeit. He is NOT a conservative.

“I don’t want to come across as a bigot or a racist, but I really don’t feel it is appropriate for students in a public high school to be singing an Islamic worship song,” Harper said. “This is worshipping another God, and even worshipping another prophet … I think there would be a lot of outrage if we made a Muslim choir say Jesus Christ is the only truth.”

School district spokesman Jeff Kirtland defended the decision to include the song.

“Choral music is often devoted to religious themes. … The song was chosen because its rhythms and other qualities would provide an opportunity to exhibit the musical talent and skills of the group in competition, not because of its religious message or lyrics,” Kirkland commented.

“Students are not required to participate, and receive no academic credit for doing so,” he said.

“The teacher consulted with students and asked each of them to review an online performance of the selection with their parents before making the decision to perform the piece,” Kirtland said, and members who object to the religious content of musical selections aren’t required to sing them.

Rahman, who has sold hundreds of millions of records and is well-known in his homeland, has said the song is not intended for a worship ceremony. He stated it is about “self-healing and spirituality.”

“It is unfortunate that the student in Colorado misinterpreted the intention of the song,” Rahman said. “This incident is an example of why we need further cultural education through music.” But one of the verses of the song states “There is no truth except Allah” and “Allah is the only eternal and immortal.”

So according to Rahman more education on diversity is needed. Translation: Christian’s shut up and accept everyone else while your views and faith are trashed, maligned, and restricted in schools.

And we wonder why God Doesn’t Bless America anymore…

She hit America like an Alaskan avalanche. Liberals and mainstream media spinners went into instant shock and then attack mode. Why? She resinated with people. She was a true conservative that drew sharp contrasts between moderate McCain and liberal Obama. Sarah was the ONLY reason conservatives voted for McCain.

I was extremely disappointed to hear her over the weekend tamper down her remarks about Romney on the Fox News circuit. Sadly, Sarah has begun to pale and morph into the accepted GOP careful conservative who speaks red meat to the tea party but blunts her former convictions when pressed for general consumption. She called Romney a great candidate who is still evolving as a conservative. PUKE!

Translation: He’s going to be the nominee and she still wants to have a spot at the GOP table.

The sell out begins. Sad.

Maine has been caucusing since before the Santorum upset. The results were reported on Saturday but the decision had already been made. Santorum took over 50 percent of the vote in one contest and averaged 45 percent in each of the other two. In all three states (Missouri, Minnesota, and Colorado) Santorum spanked Mitt by double digits. Romney barely beat out Ron Paul in Maine 39-36 and narrowly escaped defeat to Santorum again at the CPAC straw poll with a 38-31 victory.

Let’s put this into perspective… Gingrich and Santorum didn’t campaign in Maine and the ground was conceded to Romney weeks ago but Paul almost got him. CPAC is not the super brain trust of conservatism that they attempt to market themselves as. Last year Ron Paul won it. Neither of Mitt’s were decisive to the point of stomping down the competition. He gets to “hang on” as the propped up GOP front runner for another week.

There’s no ground swell of support for him or his ideas. First, he has no ideas. His new mantra is that he is a Washington outsider who has never “had to serve” in Congress. He ran for the Senate in 1994 along with Santorum. Rick won. Mitt lost. Romney never served in the Senate because he couldn’t get elected. Period. He served one term as Governor because he couldn’t get re-elected. Santorum served in Congress for over twenty years because he got re-elected three times.

The battle of the final four is interesting. Romney gets picked by the insider party bosses, mainstream media, AND conservative talk radio. Yes, you read that last one correctly. I almosted puked Friday listening to Mike Gallagher explain why he would say nothing negative about any of the GOP candidates because he didn’t want to muddy the waters with his opinion and hurt our chances of beating Obama. HORSE HOOEY! He doesn’t want candidates to turn down appearances on his show, doesn’t want listeners to bolt if he picks the wrong guy, and doesn’t want to look foolish if his guy loses.  In other words, for all his bloviating and pontificating he’s gutless, spineless, and without a conservative core. Ann tan in the can Coulter has at least picked Romney. Because of his conservative ideals as she says? No. She’s in heat but at least made a decision and argues for it. Bill O’Reilly is trojan horse conservative media titan but even he at least lampoons Ron Paul for the sideshow his campaign is. Hannity and Limbaugh won’t commit either which annoys me to no end.

Silence only voices support for Romney. The TV ads and media blitz FOR Romney is  so overwhelming that nuetrality by conservative media only plays in Mitt’s favor. That’s why I have taken a stand. It may only be in the Daytona-Tampa-Orlando-Melbourne markets on radio and a little slice of the cyber world but it’s a stand that I can take and will. Has it cost me listeners to endorse Cain and then openly support Newt and Santorum over the GOP beauty queen Ken doll candidate? Yes.

Why do I do this? Have these candidates I picked been on my show? No. Will they ever come on my show? Probably not. So why do it? I CARE!

Yes, it’s really that simple. I believe passionately that Mitt is the wrong choice. I believe passionately in conservatism. I believe conservative media voices should speak up and speak clearly.

Do any of the big guns in conservative media actually care or is it all ratings, book and personal tour promotions, and self promotion? Do they really care?

What a man believes determines what a man will do. Faith is a dogma of not only theology but also ideology. When you find out what motivates a man and what shapes his outlook and world view, you can then begin to understand what makes him tick and what he will do.

Mitt Romney is a Mormon. The Mormons (The Church of Latter Day Saints) have worked very hard over the past twenty plus years through aggressive media and marketing of presenting themselves as “mainstream” Christianity. They now use phrases like “born again” and “evangelical.” Why? Have they changed their core doctrines? No. They desire acceptance into society and distance from their controversial, racial, and heretical past. The problem … they haven’t really changed. They have simply denied some of their past, rewritten the other portion of their past, and learned to use PR in an effective manner. While they use phrases like “accepting Christ as Savior” … it does not mean to a Mormon what it means to an actual born again Christian. They have redefined the words. Accepting Christ simply means accepting the Mormon’s version of Christ (the half brother of Satan who had three wives: Mary, Martha, and Mary Magnalene). In short… Mormonism is a works based salvation where one can obtain godhood in the hereafter if one is obedient enough here. That’s not exactly mainstream, evangelical, historic, fundamental Christianity. Mormons spent millions of dollars testing their brand messaging through infomericals, late night “apple pie” traditional values commercials, and even redesigning their name to feature Jesus Christ in larger font than the rest of the name: The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints.

Mitt Romney is having problems convincining everyone that he is a true conservative. His problem? When he held elected office he campaigned as a moderate and governed as a liberal. Today, he wants to be the GOP nominee and has developed “conservative” vocabulary but not actual conservative convictions. In short, he is attempting to do in politics what his church has done in theology … a cosmetic make over.

Some say yes. Others say no. The GOP claims Him. The DNC is split. Some invoke Him while others ignore Him and a few deny Him. So where does God, Himself, put the importance of politics into the great scheme of things? Well, God organized three institutions: The Family, The Church, and Human Government. God has much to say about who should lead the family and the church and how they should do it. God even weighs in on how masters should treat servants. Doesn’t it stand to reason that He might have a thing or two say about who leads nations and governments?

I do not believe God is necessarily a respector of political parties or affiliations but there are some He would no doubt NOT be in favor of. Any regime or ideology which dominates and controls people through oppression, tyranny, and denies basic human rights, dignity, and decency would garner God’s wrath. When the National Socialists of Germany (Nazi Party) created a system of redistribution of wealth to aid an ailing economy other world leaders took notice. But when a government encroaches in one area of life by taking from those who have  achieved and earned by placing the needs of the whole over the rights of the individual … chances are that is only the beginning. Usually the ruling class exempts themselves from such sharing. They then lead by creating class warefare among the people. At some point a certain group or type of people becomes the scape goat for the ills of the land. In Germany it was the Jews. Whether ignorant or willfully defiant against God’s love of the Jews and promise to bless those who blessed them or curse those who cursed them … Hitler gained God’s undivided attention and ultimately met with a horrible demise which destroyed his nation and outlawed his ideologies.

God cares about Individuals. The words of the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” It goes on to explain how those rights are to be insured, protected, and implemented… “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” The Constitution of the United States was written to enshrine this ideology and see it implemented.

God cares about the Innocence of Life. In Proverbs 6:17 we see that God weighs in on the subject of Abortion.

God cares about the Integrity of the Ruler. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” I Samuel 15:23 Those who reject God, God’s Word, and God’s Principles are thus rejected. Where does your candidate stand?

God cares about the Intactness of His Moral Law. Where does your candidate stand on social issues, moral taboos, and morality in general? It is sad that so many Christians will get caught up in the economy and wanting a candidate who will “fix” the fiscal issues by slashing this, cutting that, and getting the financial house in order they fail to realize if he is dead wrong on morality and social issues he will receive no blessing in any area of his administration including the economy. Finances rise and fall and can rise again. The true key to sustaining that growth is not in the tax plan of the candidate but the moral fortitude of his heart and relationship he has with the Lord.

Civilizations have come and civilizations have gone. Kings have reigned and Kings have died. Candidate’s promise and candidate’s lie. 

Only God and His Word are eternal. Place your confidence in Him and your support for those who seek office under His guidance.

We don’t need Obama Lite … we need a true conservative with bold ideas, a proven record, and a plan people can understand and rally around … not a guy with a big bank account, super model smile, Ken doll hair, and bumper slogan speeches. Been there. Done that. Look where it got us.
